GARDEN SETTINGS

The land consists of four levels and 22 sections. All of these sections were formed with careful attention given to the use of plants, stone walls and resources such as sunlight and water.

To raise the crops in the garden, a lot of study and attention had to be devoted, over the course of a whole year, to questions ranging from seed storage to the use of fertiliser and manure to pruning and combatting plant diseases.

Patika’s fields which have been certified with an Ecological Agriculture Certificate, contain fruit trees and provide vegetables according to the season.

Since the organisation of Patika’s gardens in 2004, they have come to host 250 different varieties of tree in 3 years and every year, new plant varieties are added to these.
